My approach

I’m honored to work with clients who are seeking growth, whether they’re navigating difficult challenges or pursuing a stronger, more aligned version of themselves. My approach is deeply collaborative and I believe therapy is not something done to you; it’s something we take part in together. I’m committed to understanding your goals and using your vision of wellness to guide how we identify patterns and work toward something that actually feels whole.

I draw from a diverse set of tools, including EMDR, CBT, DBT-informed strategies, and mindfulness practices in order to meet your individual needs and make our sessions personalized to your goals. Rather than relying on a single framework, I tailor our work so it creates the setting where you can pursue the most growth and healing.

Together, we create a space that allows us to examine what’s happening beneath the surface, build practical skills, and move toward lasting wellness.

About me

My journey to becoming a mental health therapist wasn’t direct. My background prior to mental and behavioral health includes working in hospitality, at non-profit organizations, and running a small business. After returning to school, I’ve worked in a range of settings, with kids at home and in schools, supporting adults through therapy and parenting classes, and managing a crisis response team.

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and, in my free time, also enjoy surfing, lobster diving, and being outside. I’m often driven by learning new things and discovering new skills and you can often find me tinkering with a new project or skill. Prior to my life on Kaua’i, I’ve lived in multiple states and have spent some of that time working with international non-profit organizations.

I’m truly humbled that I have the opportunity to meet and build relationships with clients who trust me to sit within the challenging times, provide support when there are not clear answers, and celebrate growth.

I work with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. I recognize that for some men, working with a male therapist is an important part of feeling comfortable, and I’m glad to be that option. For clients whose Christian faith is central to their lives, I’m also experienced in integrating a Christian perspective into our work when that’s meaningful to you.
